Kim Diccianni

Kim Diccianni serves as the Human Research Compliance Manager for Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. She is an experienced specialist working on human research protection, clinical adult and pediatric ethics committees, medical research/clinical trial management and has a demonstrated history of working in hospitals and higher education sectors for over 25 years. She has an extensive background in research/biomedical ethics, standard operating procedures, and policy creation/management, ensuring compliance to federal regulations as warranted for social behavioral and biomedical studies including medical devices, and drugs. Kim's professional experiences include Deaconess Medical Center, Garden State Cancer Center, Newark Beth Israel Medical Center as the Director of the Institutional Review Board and member of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Research Team. She then went on to join the NYU School of Medicine Human Research Protection Office before moving on to lead the program at Fairleigh Dickinson University. She has also served on the Public Responsibility and Medicine Organization as a presenter and faculty member. Kim has a passion to ensure the ethical principles of research (Respect for Persons, Do No Harm and Justice) are adhered to and upheld in addition to ensuring the protection of all subjects who are enrolled in research experimentation.
